I never thought myself a writer, much less an author, but here I am all thanks to a kid named Fred.

I spent the majority of young adulthood babysitting, full time nannying, summer camp counseling and I even did a short stent preschool Sunday school teaching. I have met hundreds of kids all special and unique in their own way.

 

I was a kid myself once (shocking!), special and unique, so I feel my resume for writing a children’s book is, at the very least, sufficient.

This is me, AB Barnes. I once dreamed of being an astronaut, or an artist, or a lawyer, but never a writer or an author. Life is funny that way isn’t it?
